Ekta Kapoor Returns Aamir Khan's gesture

Ekta Kapoor Returns Aamir Khan's gesture

A friend in need is a friend indeed it is said. And as far as the adage
goes Aamir Khan and Ekta Kapoor have always been there for each other when
in trouble. It's a known fact that Aamir Khan and Ekta Kapoor have been
good friends ever since he asked for his Delhi Belly trailer to be ferried
along with Ragini MMS. And now the head honcho of Balaji has returned the
favour.

It has been heard that Aamir had planned the release of his forthcoming film
Talaash on November 30 and didn't want any other big film to release on the
same date. Meanwhile Ekta had planned to release her keenly awaited
Shootout At Wadala on December 7, 2012, a week after the release of Aamir's
film. However, the Balaji team has decided to postpone the release of the
film to January 18, 2013.

The decision was taken after a closed-door meeting between Ekta, leading man
John Abraham, director Sanjay Gupta, and Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion
Pictures. Everyone felt that there was no point in the two films eating into
each other's business.
