College band's name bought for ROCK THE SHAADI?

As Abhay Deol gets ready to play the lead singer of a rock band in the under-production romantic comedy, Rock The Shaadi, the film's producers are said to have bought a unique name for the band, Zehreeley Laundey.

Apparently, last year, Ekta went through a lot of videos of Indian college music festivals in her hunt for a band name. She wanted something young, cool, and funky, and after coming across this title, she was determined to buy it at a tidy price.

Abhay will be seen opposite Genelia D'Souza for the first time in Rock The Shaadi. It is being produced by Ekta Kapoor & Sidhartha Jain, and directed by Navdeep Singh. The film is expected to release in summer 2012.
