Akshay is down with flu!!

Akshay Kumar who has just finished the first schedule of Khiladi 786, which he is co-producing with Himesh Reshamiya, is down with flu and is on a complete bed rest.

A source close to Akshay confirms, “Yes Akshay is down with fever. It’s nothing serious but normal viral. It happened due to change in weather. He is taking full rest and proper medications. The viral takes at least five days to go. So he will be fine soon.”

The source reveals that though Twinkle is expecting the second child she is still taking full care of her hubby dear. “Twinkle is making sure that he takes complete rest and don’t do any meetings. She has house arrested him.” As we reported earlier reported Akshay has checked in a suburban hotel for the next few days since his house is going under renovation.

Fortunately, the shoot of the film which is directed by a debutant director Ashish Mohan didn’t get affected because Akshay's fever. When contacted the business partner of Himesh Reshamiya, Rakesh Upadhyay, who also is a creative producer for HR music, he said, “Yes Akshay is down with fever and recuperating but he finished our 16 –day-schedule on time. Even though he was feeling unwell on the last day of the schedule but he shot with us that day. He is a workaholic.”
