Rajinikanth paid surprise visit to Big B

Legendary southern star Rajinikanth made sure Amitabh Bachchan felt special while he was in Chennai for the opening ceremony of tbe fifth season of Indian Premier League - by unexpectedly dropping in on him!

"Rajnikanth came over to meet me in the room of my hotel much against my wishes - I had wanted to go to his place but... always a pleasure," Amitabh posted on his blog bigb.bigadda.com.

The two actors are good friends and have worked together in films like "Andhaa Kanoon", "Geraftaar" and "Hum".

Amitabh was in Chennai for IPL opening ceremony Tuesday and it was his first public appearance post his abdominal surgeries.
