endless colorsTue, 2007-10-30 16:40 — honeysiphey girlies i was wondern!! could anyone tell me what color eyeshadows would look look while wearing yellow dress? purple dress? and red dress? ALSO if it is a printed day dress in color such as yellow combined with some other colors what color eye shadow would look good? I was thinking nude eyes cos its printed day dress!? ANOTHER LIL QUESTION if you're going out on a date, what sort of make up style would look good? i mean plain nude lip gloss and very little make up!? because i know when going to wedding, parties and university make up should be applied differently but is there somethn for date hope it makes sen.

The most important eyeshadows to have are neutrals because they go with anything, if you wear neutrals, you may play up with different eyeliners/your cheeks, or lips.

Hey IxlovexMAC that was so helpful.Can you also give specific shade names for the different looks?
With a yellow dress:
Colors like bronzey browns and golds would look gorgeous.
With a purple dress:
Purples and purplish-pinks (magenta) look gorgeous
With a red dress:
Smokey eyes and nude gloss
OR
Nude eyeshadow, black cat eyes and red lips
With printed yellow dresses:
Depends what colors are in the dress, i would choose champagnish-gold, bronzey browns, bronzey rust eyeshadows, and greens
If you're on a date:
Play up your best feature, it could be your eyes, lips, cheeks; and if you're playing up either one, keep the rest of your features very neutral, because you want your date to notice that feature.
I hope this answers your questions, the key thing is to experiment a lot, make-up should enhance your features not change them and make you look clownish...
