ghd company Jemella have yet to move on to the Middle East. We have been practically begging them for year to distribute in the UAE.

Again, I'm sorry that you feel our price is too high but this has to be done until the ghd head company decided to distribute to us in Dubai. We bring the ghds to you in your area for an additional cost then buying from abroad.

Wen i start earning big bucks m gonna buy CHI...but for the time being...CONAIR is really gud...try buying ionic ones....n yes...DO NOT FORGET TO BUY PRODUCTS THAT PREVENT HEAT-DAMAGE (silicon based serums) coz m sure u wud want to straighten ur hair once u start it ;-)....gud luck Damsel!

its true that ghd is the best.. instead of spending for 2-3 straightner and not getting results (like me).. do spend the money in ghd..

DONT EVER USE A STRAIGHTNER ON WET HAIR! ...Even if CHI allows you to dry it because that will damamge your hair so bad. Also, if your hair comes out smooth with the dryer alone, dont use the straightner so often...But I should follow my own advice cuz once you get hooked on a straightner, you get hooked on it! lol but yeah...dont do the mistake of straightening your hair when it's wet because in the long term that will severly mess up your hair.

Agree with the others about CHI.It is the #1 recomended flatiron by professionals in the U.S.If you are in the U.S purchase it for a trial.I can guarantee you will be hooked.
try the corioliss straightner..it works wonders! m a south indian and you guys can guess how curly my hair could be..but once i started using this straightner, the texture of my hair has really improved as well..it should cost you around 75$ but its really worth it..take my word for it :)

I still vouch for GHD 100% after I took the plunge, things have never been the same. It's the best thing ever. Pure ceramic plates as well - minimal damage to hair and buy the ghd oil that goes with it! heaven I tell you heaven.

Hi Damsel, I have to agree with Aussie Mermaid. I've got really curly hair naturally, so I've tried many different straighteners, but the GHD is the best. It straightens your hair so quickly and it lasts too. It is quite expensive but it's worth it.

I heard that CHI is a great iron. You can straight your hair while it's wet. It is about $133. It works on any type to hair.
Unless you want a cheap one. Ok the one i have is Durabrand . It is the perfect size It's skinny & It heats up like in about 30 seconds..$30 Its so worth it. AlL the people i know that use it agree that it is Great. But it can not be used on wet hair.
Hey Damsel I don't know what your hair type is.Hers is mine:Ultra frizzy,wavy,thick,poufy and kind of kinky in the front.I have ALWAYS hated my hair.I'd tried many flatirons both high end and cheaper but was never too happy with the results.Same story when I would get it done at the salons too!Then once I went to this salon and could not beleive how gorgeous,smooth and silky my hair looked, not to mention stick straight.The Flatiron the hairdresser used on me was the Farouk Chi original.I cannot tell you how fast I went to the beauty store to grab it.Ever since I've stopped going to the salon for hair straightening.It heats up fast,is easy to use and the 2" plates are the perfect size for getting as close to the root of the hair as possible.It retails for around $150-$160.I had a coupon and was able to get it for $110.I always get compliments on my hair when I flatiron it, and that is a miracle because previously I used to be teased for my frizzy and poufy hair.I can tell you best purchase I ever made!!!

get the "coriolis hair straightener". if you buy it in a mall it might cost around $100 but u can get the same stuff on ebay for a mere $30. i've tried it and its very good.
