You are welcome anon.Since

You are welcome anon.Since you have acne prone skin it would be better to go with an exfoliant with BHA as it can permeate the oil. These products will not only exfoliate your skin but will also keep your acne under control.

Some of the products I love are:

Paula's Choice 2% BHA lotion(available at paulaschoice.com)

Philosophy Microdelivery Peel(combo of lactic/salicylic acid...available at all major dept. stores in the U.S).

Hope that helps!

To get rid of the tan, avoid

To get rid of the tan, avoid sun exposure by wearing a visor/cap, carrying an umbralla, or also by wearing a stronger sunblock, something with SPF50, another thing that soothes the skin is aloe vera, so lotion/cream containing that will help with the scars as well as the tan:) Let me know if that helps!!!

While it is not possible to

While it is not possible to get 'rid' of a tan per se there are steps you can take to gradually minimize it.Here are some tips:
1.Try a chemical exfoliation or peel. You can go to a licensed aesthetician, Dermatologist or do a safe at home version(but obiously without the dramatic result). What a peel does is to remove the upper layer of dead and dull skin and reveal smoother and new skin underneath. This also helps to remove tanned/damaged skin.Depending on your skin type they might use either an AHA,BHA or TCA in the required concentration. It is a gradual process and may require several sessions with the Derm/Aesthetician.Make sure you do your research and always opt for the gentlest concentration that your skin can stand.Do a skin sensitivity patch test prior. This is also a treatment for people looking to minimize wrinkles and discolorations and roughness. The most important thing to remember once you've had a peel is to wear a sunscreen of at least SPF 30.Side effects can include inflammation, redness and of course actual peeling of the skin.Effects will usually subside after a week or so.So not recomended doing immediately before a major event!!
2.Second option is to do an at home exfoliation.Same principle as above but safe enough to be done at home.I can recommend products for you if you are in the U.S.Depending on your skin type you would use an AHA(Glycolic,Lactic or Citric acid) or BHA(Salicylic Acid...used for pimple treatments and a good option if you have oily or acne prone skin)lotion made specifically for facial skin. For home use these will generally come in concentrations of 15% or less.Make sure you find a product that is suitable for your skin type and always do a patch test.
After cleansing your skin apply all over face.Follow up with moisturizer and Sunscreen. You should see effects gradually.
3.Milk and yogurt also have Lactic acid(the gentlest form of AHA)so you could use that definately.
4.Always wear a broad spectrum sunscreen that has at least a SPF of 30.This is the only way to prevent sun damage and protect your skin.

Hope that helps.
