Man behind Rajni’s Hindi

second Rajni movie I’m dubbing for. The first one was Sivaji- The Boss. You can call me the Hindi voice of Rajnikanth,” says a beaming Vyas.

Swanand Kirkire, associate director, dubbing for Robot, who also gave the hindi dialogues for Robot vouches for Vyas’ talent. “It was quite a task to sync dialogue to action in Robot. Vyas just did a fabulous job. The accent and diction was just like Rajnikanth would talk,” Kirkire says.

Though he hasn’t met Rajnikanth yet, Vyas would like to and deliver a dialogue or two to the man whose screen avatar has made him famous as a voice-over artiste. “People recognise me as Rajni’s voice. It’s really a wonderful feeling,” says Vyas, whose other voices have also included dubbing for Robert Downing Jr in Hindi for Sherlock Holmes.
