I was watching Soldier the other day and saw Preity Zinta looking absolutely adorable and natural... (this is way before her cosmetic treatments). Do you miss the bubbly and charming PZ?

Yes i miss her a lot not i we miss her a lot all the fans of preity zinta. by the way this surgery things are just overrated, look, she didnt do surgery for her bump or breast, its only theeth, and please answer if you had the theeth you dont enjoy, and you spoilt them when you were a kid, never thinking that in future your smile will win hearts of millions etc,and you have money to fix them, what would you do???

Schmuck - I dunno when it happened, but I think the majority of the work was done whilst she was filming KANK. I remember reading that her scars etc were so bad that the makeup artist had to work really hard to make her look good in KANK. She deffo has the tight pulled back look.. I do think she looked good in KANK though. But, I dunno, after that she seemed to look more and more "plastic".

Also, it is pointless bringing Rani into this debate, because Rani is STILL getting movie offers and is working with the best directors/producers in Bollywood. She is still at the top of the acting game, she's obviously not a superstar celebrity anymore. That title belongs to Katrina. And we all know that people like her are flavour of the month, and then they begin to waste away. Come back in 15 years time and if Katrina is still getting good offers, and brings out masterpieces like Black [which require acting, nothing else] then yes, you will be right.

In Bollywood today female A-list or power-performers are limited to bikini-babes, barbie dolls and yesteryear beautyqueens still trying to hold onto their tags and labels of "beautiful". Thankfully Rani is of the rare ACTRESSES, not star or celebrity, who has transcended the need be on these lists. She has attained her stature and position as being one of the most credible actresses today by her sheer talent and hardwork. She has defied bollywood boundaries by proving you do not have to be beautiful, fairskinned or a barbie doll/bikini babe to be sucessful. She has earned the respect of her collegeues and peers (young and old) by being totally committed to giving her best. While other actresses (past and present) are propped up by these lists and grades (like cows off to the slaughter house) Rani still continues to shine despite the influx of these so-called power-performers and A-listers.

Preity could have had an advantage over these new actresses if she had not done any facial surgery as people love her dimples.
The truth is her movie with deepa mehta ruined her commercial bollywood career and left her stranded which is why rani refused to be part of deepa mehta's next film.
She will be lucky if she manages a hit but still will not last as she is not in demand anymore.
Her mistake to dump ness wadia to continu bollywood was a major mistake.She should have retired at the peak of her career(kal ho na ho,koi mil gaya) and then later comeback after a good director takes her.
Are you guys blind, stupid or both? See had a gradual progression of surgeries, teeth, nose, lips...I did not notice until I saw Veer Zaara. I don't think it is a big deal. She looked fabulous then and she does now. Also just because she took a break from acting and did other things does not mean she is unsuccessful. She has always been a positive and happy person. Regarding the coke rumor, do you guys believe everything you read?

For those who are questionng about Rani's status being as an A-list.. Well, there is a difference between an A-list celebrity and a Box Office ruler.. Rani may not be leading the BO right now, but let's call spade a spade, she is the ultimate diva, fascinated actress and known for her extreme professionalism. She lasted 15 yrs in this industry with grace and respect.. even when her movies were doing really bad, but her performance was still top notch for critics to accliam her as the finest actress of our generation. So yes she is not at the top of BO at the moment, but she is certainly at the top of the list of an A-list celebrities.
