Hey girlies Can anyone tell me What is panetar? and How does it look like? and How do you wear a panetar? Is panetar a SAREE? or lehenga choli, silk ghagra choli??

hi,,,,i am binita,,,,and i am from gujarat,,,,,,,,,so i can tell you what is panetar?Panetar is kind of gujarati traditional bridal saree....which is always white saree in red or maroon border with embroidery,,,,,,it's look preety when bride wear it with pallu at front side....every gujarati bride is feel her self gourjous in PANTAR.

it can be a lengha choli as well, usually a white/red lengha and white/red blouse usually worn with 2 dupattas, one white one and a gharchala dupatta, either one can be worn over the head.

Panetar is a saree-usually white with red border. It's worn like a regular saree but with pallu on the right shoulder. You may have seen this style in all these hindi serials showing gujarati families..

hey..panetar is just the traditional red and white silk sari that brides wear. usually brides wear it the gujarati way with pallu at the front. its called panetar in gujrati. i hope that helps
