Hey people.. I need to buy a good product for acne.. I have soem pimples that grow now and then.. Theres two in my face that left a rid mark ..Almost like a red DOT..My skin is pretty dry too. I'm afraid there will be more..
So i need to Know what's the best acne product You've used! And approve of it?

i just strted using my spa

i just strted using my spa facial's brand at home from last week. results are amazing.
try using GM COLLINS product. u cant get it online not in any drug store... its used by spas ... n its .....wow kind of product.

i use loreal mineral powder

i use loreal mineral powder which gives same coverage as normal foundation and its GREAT..it has SPF 15 protection and doesnt clog pores...i'd recommend it to everyone...give it a try

I used Tree Tea Oil from Body Shop to get rid of the pimples I had. My people suggest this for oily skin. But, for some reason, this didnt work for me. My skin became even more oily after I used this, and naturally more pimples. Then, I tried the Vitamin E moisturiser from Body Shop. This really worked wonders, no oily skin and no pimples ! It makes my skin soo soft n supple. I am glad I found this product. Pls dont think that Tree Tea Oil is the one, bcoz not all skin types are suitable for this.
Also, use filtered water to wash ur face. I have been using filtered water on my skin and thats one of the reason I am seeing good results.

Hi All,

I used Tree Tea Oil product from Body Shop. I was told its a good product for oily skin and gets rid of blemishes. But, for some reason, my skin started to become more oily after using this and I started getting more pimples than before. Later, I used a Vitamin E cream from Body Shop. This particular moisturiser is so good for me, it makes my skin supple n soft and now I dont see my skin oily and no more pimples. I am so glad I found this cream !
Many people suggest Tree Tea Oil for pimples/acne. But, not all skin types are suitable for this.

Btw, how about naturally made recipe straight from the kitchen? I use this one often: tumeric, gram flour (besan), almond oil and water to make it into a paste-my skin takes well too it. Besan is also know to be a good exfloliator *think it was*..

Let us know as to how everything goes.

i dont really recommend it..as it doesnt really remove the pimple but simply pushes it back in the skin and makes it hard. so its still there just not as bumpy...when i used it it would settle the pimple but not remove it so it would come up againm and leave a mark.....
u can still try it but wouldnt recommend it....

Make sure if you do use make

Make sure if you do use make up, its oil free. Also, do not use soap on your face, use something mild and not complicated such as Cetaphil cleanser for oily skin or dry skin.
I personally think Tea Tree Oil is great and I see a difference within a night - but thats me.
Anonymous, try going to Ella Rouge or Ella Bache beauty salon and having a chat with one of the girls there regarding facials. I personally have gone for a couple of Microdermabrasion sessions - this exfoliates your skin and removes dead skin from the top layer, do NOT have this done if you have pimples on your face as this will cause it to spread.

Clean & Clear I know that they have it here.. But which product.. Cuz they have a lot for acne...Is it the Ance spot something the skinny tube with a pointy top?
Usually people hid their acne with makeup, I never thought it was a good idea...But sometimes i would put concealer over it.. Thanks for sharin ..the part about staying away from foundation...I never thought it was a good idea anyways..If you apply foundsation the wrong way it'll just make ur pimple more noticeable.

Clique have this "overnight

Clique have this "overnight gel" in their range-they sell it here in the U.K. and should do so in the U.S. as well-it really reduces redness and has worked for me!

Also, clean and clear (i think thats what its called), also sold here in the u.k. rids of spots within 3days-not personally used it, but it is a good skinscare range.

Avoid face creams and

Avoid face creams and lotions with mineral oil. But remember that natural stuff such as tea tree oil and plants oils may cause allergies and worsen the acne.
The best face care is usually (out of experience) found in good pharmacies. Look for brands that contain no mineral oil (paraffin, petrolatum etc) and no perfume. And don't try to scrub the problem away, it'll get worse. Just wash and moisturize regularily with mild products and hopefully you'll se some good results in a month or so.
By the way, don't try to hide your problem with makeup cause it'll get worse. If you have to have makeup on, try 100% procent mineral makeup.

hey shristi thanks for the advice....i actually wanted to ask...with the facials...are they safe??? i have friends who spent $200 on facial and ended up with their skin worsening. I have also heard of how chemical peels can be harmfull to ur skin....have u personally tried it? btw i m from Australia.....
and Tam....i have triedn tea tree oil and it does work...u put it on overnight and it reduces the size of the pimple eventually disappearing. also its all natural so no side effects. i strongly recommend it

Anonymous, Im not sure where you live, but the brand of Tea Tree Oil is just from the supermarket! A bottle of 500ml is about $4.00. As long as its 100% tea tree oil, try Health Food stores.
Do remove marks, I would suggest applying sunscreen everytime you go outside as the marks will not worsen by becoming darker, also, try a Microdermabrasion or a AHA/BHA face peel at a Beauty Salon..The brand EmerginC is great for facials..there very strong so you may want to do a patch test

hey ladies...try switching to natural and organic skin care products..I have years of acne history and it was over the top until I started using organic products on my skin...try using Aubrey organics and even Dr. Hauschka products if you can afford it...it worked for me so it should work for you...thanks
