Here are some stills from Karan Johar's movie, 'Student of the Year'. Must say the students are looking good with bulging biceps and fit bods. Student of the Year is an upcoming comedy directed by Karan Johar, starring new comers Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The film is produced by Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan under the banner of Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment.The film is to be released on 19 October 2012 Alia Bhatt is the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and Varun Dhawan is the son of director David Dhawan. It also stars Boman Irani's son Kayoze Irani.

Not interesting! Alia is cute but does not have much screen presence. The guys look too hunky to be believable as college students.
Karan is perfect Director, who know the pulse of audience, So wait until movie release. Its will be big blockbuster. If Roudy rathod make 100 cr more, then wait Karan is one director who can believe deeply. How beautifully he portrait My name is khan, and film not Oscar first list. So wait his selection of both male super. But I am bit sad about the female. she is average, wait how she act.....
Both guys looks alike and Alia is looking like a 19 years old girl what she is. If people watch Bol bachchan, Ready, G3 then it definitely has a chance. Because kjo is better director than Rohit.
Puhleeze! I will wait to see who gets the girl for free on DVD from my local library. This is not worth my money. Pwah!

I think these guys are hot, but they lack the x-factor!
I mean if u r talking about "hot men" then how many of u have watched Splitzvilla 5 (mentioned this before in another post)? There are bunches of hot guys out thr, who looks smashing & I am sure if they are given chances they will act equally good (or in their case "bad"), so KJ could have also chosen some one from them, who are tall, has great body and good looks. So just by being "hot" u cant be a Bollywood star....If u look at past's BW stars, AB, SRK or Aamir, none of them are tht good looking. I think choosing these 2 guys was a bad decision by KJO, they dnt have the star quality, but I agree they are hot just like any other Hot guys... lol
Here is a pic of Paras (Splitzvilla 5).....dnt u guys think he looks EQUALLY or maybe even hotter than these 2 guys? But does it matter? In BW, there are NEW BIMBOS joining....which word should I use for these male-bimbos? maybe "BOMBAS" :P :P kidding... I mean, we neet ACTING!
& this Alia Bhatt, is good for "nothing" (neither looks or acting).
No High School students looks like the way as it has been portrayed in the movie . Its looks dumb to show high school students dressing like this . He should have shown study related issues , other than showing the students as stupid Galm dolls ..

Now this had nothing to do with Kjo's "genius", but it's a time-tested formula - there's always this curiosity in a triangle-based storyline, and Karan has a history of triangles be it in KKHH or KANK. But after seeing how artificial these three look and how predictable and meh the trailer was, methinks the only way Karan can create a spark is by getting rid of the girl and having the two men walk off into the sunset, hands in the pockets of each other's hipster jeans! Now, THAT would be something different!

Actually they've pretty much told us who will get the girl in the official synopsis.
Alia is Varun's (whose rich) girlfriend but then falls for Siddharth (whose poor ie the underdog)
I don't know if this movie can actually get any more obvious.
Also. Judging by the similarity of the 2 male leads....Kjo has certain preferences.
The Student of Year gets an "F" grade in Styling department!...Manish & Karan need a reality check on what younger generation like to dress!...Karan said that he wanted the film to look glamorous....Yes Karan, the film looks very tacky 90s glamor!

All of them look like siblings ( ofcourse, eachother's). Nothing seems inetersting or appealing about this movies. I would rather watch re-runs of Friends than watch this movie.
Kjo's boyfriend Sid looks a bit like SRK.
Varun is really cute!

Trust Kjo to overhype his stuff, I first heard about this movie in 2010. I thought it had come out and flopped long time back but lo and behold! Here comes overhype madness. I bet he will get Katrina to do an item number to send the overhype into the stratosphere.
They all have very passable average faces. Nothing distinctive about them. Just hope they can actually act.

Compare this to the kids from MOHABBATEIN, MAIN HOON NA & K3G. Oh! How the times have changed. If there are no more talented filmy fraternity kids left, Kjo should have done casting call instead trying to do insider favour by launching talentless tryhards. Even MERE YAAR KI SHAADI HAI looked better than this.
KKHH revisited. only with 2 guys and and a gal. That is very ENTICING....lol
alia bhatt-cheap girl from a cheap family....her and varun both taking advantage of nepotism. alia is a sure flop.....both the guys seem okay but we just have to wait and watch.....and why the hell didnt this alia thing debut in ijsm 2....perfect for her and ppl with thinking like her ffam...she would be adored by them...here she is just going to flop
