Voiceswriter, Lara was/is probably more low-key about her relationship with Mahesh because his ex-wife acused them of cheating while he was married.
She talked about it on season 1 of Koffee with Karan too, she was very open about it. I guess that's why she is very guarded in her married life because she shared too much with the media when she was with Kelly.

I remember reading an article/interview in which Lara talked about live-in relationships, this was back in early/mid 2000s or something, i don't remember it very clearly. I was impressed by how candid and geniune she was.
@FallingStar yeah John was really in love with Bipasha and vice versa. Only God knows what happened.
