Who Makes the Best Makeup Brand Ambassadors of These? Sat, 2013-03-23 09:03 — mocuishlelina
Admit it that we always succumb to the idea of projecting a presentable image to the public through the things we see on the idiot box. These things include Bollywood. Bollywood is synonymous with the image of colours, glamour and divine music. Over the years, till up to this date, the Bollywood beauties has never been on an off relationship with makeup products. Presenting our natural beauty is not an ideal option given that our environment is no longer friendly to our youth. Armed with excessively intolerant hormones, no wonder makeup has become an obsession to our generation. The real ambassador aside, IMHO these are the who's of the who that makes the best ambassador of these makeup brands;
'Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline'. That's the tag attached to this brand and IMHO Maybelline girl projects a very lively vibe, freshness and a smiling face. When I said girls, I mean it. A girly girl is the image portrayed by this brand. Pink pallets are never exhausted under this brand. Maybelline makes a banging choice for DPad as its ambassador but not so much on Diana Penty. DPad has the body that can emasculate youth and her dimpled smile makes a plus. As for Diana, I will explain later on. Anushka Sharma can join this brand, after all her smile is sparkling.
'Because You're Worth It'. Aishwarya Rai the glamour queen is chanting these lines on your tv commercial and you suddenly feel sicken about the popcorn you just had. Or peanuts you just chewed, thinking the side effects on your face coupled with hormones on the amount oil you just put in your body. Dewy face, is always the trend. I love that L'oreal brand is spot on when they choose Aishwarya, Sonam and Freida as the brand ambassadors. Aish the glamour queen, Sonam the edgy princess and Freida the flawless mademoiselle. I prefer Sonam saying the tag line since it sounds genuine. If I may suggest, Jaqueline Fernandez and Dia Mirza make a beautiful L'oreal team.
I know it is not so famous in India as compared to the two above, but it is among the best product I have tested. Flawless skin is the key to achieve this brand look. IMHO again, the sultry, sharp and of calibre woman that can make the best ambassador for this brand is Bipasha Basu. After all, Revlon have hundreds of shades that match almost every skin colour. I know it is quite shocking to add Esha Gupta to this brand but I must say she as sharp and gorgeous. It will also be empowering if Sushmita Sen is added to this brandwagon.
Bebo, is as playful and electrifying as ever. I want to hate the new ad starring Kareena Kapoor Khan but failed miserably. She speaks the volume of the product. The Bollywood glamour after all, is depiction of Poo, made famous by the queen Bebo. I think other angel that can join the Bollywood glamour from different shades for this brand can be in the form of the sexy Jiah Khan. Her new avatar screams glamour, Bollywood style, of course. It gives more power to this India born brand by appreciating beauty of different shades.
I don't know how do you see it, but for me the only two actresses that came to my mind when speaking of this brand are Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. M.A.C has been the most creative brand to me, pushing the ideology of pop culture of variant colours. Katrina Kaif captured the picture of Barbie Doll look that M.A.C has been biased to for a few period. Believe me, the best shades of bubblegum pink lipstick has to be in the M.A.C store. PCee is not as a consolation prize because she fit the shoes of edgy pop with the likeliness of Rihanna as per the M.A.C new ad campaign.
I could totally understand that Bobbi Brown has overcharged its beauty products. Any woman would die to wear makeup that makes you look naturally beautiful even more than you could do with your naked face. I am one. Now comes the explanation why Diana Penty didn't make the best ambassador for Maybelline. It's because she is the best and is the Bobbi Brown face. I would die to have that subtle beauty and softness look. I can't see anybody that can fill her shoes better. Another one that I might think of is Lisa Haydon who also looks like she just come out from a man's dream.
Feel free to add your opinion, ladies.
