Rani Mukherjee has recently been linked with the elusive Aditya Chopra and there have been rumours of an engagement between the two. However Rani’s family and friends claim that the rumours are false and instead Rani is busy shooting for her film Laga Chunari Mein Daag along with co-star Abhishek Bachchan. Abhi is just back from his extended honeymoon and has resumed his shooting for the film. Though everyone expected that things would be awkward between Rani and Abhishek as she was not invited for the wedding, on the contrary Abhi and Rani seem to have revived their old camaraderie.

Apparently Rani was a bit miffed at not being invited for Abhi and Ash’s wedding. However sources claim that Rani and Abhishek have always shared good chemistry on-screen, in fact there were also rumours of an off-screen romance before Abhi tied the knot with Ash. However when Abhi recently got back to shooting, he seemed the same old mischievous prankster that he has always been. When Rani realized that marriage has not yet changed Abhi in any way, she seemed to be placated and in the end she resumed the same comfort level that has always been there between them. Sources claim “Rani and Abhishek are back having fun on the sets as though nothing has happened. The set for Laga Chunari Mein Daag resembles a picnic spot and the part spirit that prevails every time Abhi is around is back.”

Many were apprehensive that Abhishek marrying ice queen Aishwarya Rai would change him in many ways. However Abhishek is proving that he is still the same fun loving guy that he always has been. However recently Amitabh claimed that Ash had also accompanied hubby dearest for his outdoor shooting of Laga Chunari Mein Daag. Well we wonder how the vibes were between Ash and Rani and did Ash tag along to keep an eye on Abhi? Did Rani and Ash too resume their old friendship or were they practicing the art of just ignoring each other. Well Abhi’s recent film Jhoom Barabar Jhoom had a disastrous opening at the box-office and right now he can’t afford to ruin all his relationships with his co-stars, especially Rani who is said to be his lucky charm for hit films. Well so Ash is just going to have to grin and bear it all even if she is not comfortable with Rani, for the sake of hubby dearest.
