• Lavender and rosemary face steam: deep-cleanses oily skin, removes blackheads and shrinks the pores size
Fill a large bowl with boiling water and leave it for 10 minutes. Add 5 drops lavender oil and a spring of fresh rosemary. Put a towel over your head and breathe in vapor deeply for 10 minutes. The lavender steam will cleanse the skin deeply and will make you relax.

• Chamomile foot soak: revives the feet
Mix 2 cups brewed chamomile tea with 2 drops peppermint oil and a few flower buds. Soak feet for about 10 minutes. Then pat dry or exfoliate with sugar and oil.

• Sugar and olive oil hand scrub: cleanses and softens the skin, removes dead skin cells and exfoliates
Mix together 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar and extra-virgin olive oil in the palm of your hand. Work over both hands massaging over rough knuckles. Rinse well with lukewarm water. Apply a moisturizer. This is also good as a body scrub as it removes cellulite.

• Lavender and lemon-grass bath tea: soothes and relaxes
Mix a handful of dried lavender buds with a crushed fresh lemon-grass bulb. Tie in a muslin bag and hang under the running hot bath tab. You can soak the herbs in a large bowl of boiling water for 30 minutes, strain and pour the liquid into the water.

• Nourishing body scrub: invigorates and polishes the skin, removes the dead skin cells and exfoliates
Mix 2 tablespoons of turmeric, 1 drop of sandalwood oil and 3 drops of jasmine oil with 2 tablespoons finely ground rice and a splash of mineral water. Massage it gently on your body with baby oil, and then smear the aromatic mix all over your body. Leave to dry and buff off with your hands. Rinse it off in the shower. Apply a moisturizing body lotion.

• Banana and grape-seed hair pack: moisturizes the hair and calms frizziness
Mash one ripe banana with 2 teaspoon of grape-seed oil. Massage into the hair and scalp, cover your hair with a cling wrap. Leave for 30 minutes and then shampoo. For extra shine use an egg yolk instead of the oil but then, shampoo your hair with warm water.

• Papaya body wrap: exfoliates, smooths and nourishes the skin
Mash 3 papayas. Smear the mixture into the whole body, and then wrap your limbs and torso in cling film. Slip on a warm toweling robe and relax for 20 minutes while your skin perspires and then shower off. Apply moisturizing body lotion.

• Cucumber and honey mask: leaves the skin soft and plump
Mix 250 grams of honey with 10 drops lime juice and massage your face for about 5 minutes. Place chilled cucumber slices over the face and the neck and rest for 15 minutes. Apply a moisturizer.

• Almond, oatmeal and cucumber mask: balances problem skin, removes the enlarged pores and nourishes the skin
Put 2 tablespoons of skinned almonds with half a cup of water into a blender and put in a bowl. Blend 2 unpeeled cucumbers for 30 seconds and strain, keep the pulp. Mix the pulp with the almond milk. Stir 4 tablespoons of rolled oats to make a dry paste. Massage onto the face and leave for 15 minutes.

• Avocado stone massage: nourishes tired skin, improves the circulation and exfoliates
Mash 1 ripe avocado and smooth over the face. Use the avocado stone to gently massage with small upward circular movements. Keep it on for 10 minutes.
