Im sorry if St Ives didnt work for you. Everyone's skin type is different and St Ives works great for me. I guess its a matter of trial and error to figure out what works for you. I find acidic juices like lemon and lime make my face itch and burn. But I'll try the besan/turmeric/lime juice - maybe in this combination it will be different.
dont use harsh scrubs like the St ives Apricot...it strips off the natural oil in ur skin and cause more breakouts. i am speaking from personal experience. i use besan, turmeric and lime juice paste and apply it every night for 20 mins. it helps with pigmentation and brightens ur skin tone. also i take zinc tablets which help balance hormones internally. hope that helps.
Mahi687 - I used to take a handful of rice and soak it in water (1.5 times the qty of rice) overnight. The next day, crush the mixture into a coarse paste and use it as a natural scrub. It helps with breakouts. I dont use it anymore because im lazy and its easier to buy St Ives Apricot Scrub (blemish fighting) - which you can try if you are not particular about using natural only stuff. Pretty much any scrub or face wash with salicylic acid will help with breakouts. A variation of the rice scrub is baby oil with sugar but dont use it if you have oily skin.
Good luck.
I never skip breakfast
I always take off my make-up as soon as I get home from work
I use toner after make-up remover (as I have oily skin)
I chug litres of water
I use sunscreen daily and avoid the sun in the summer
I always have vegetables with all my meals
i use an apricot scrub and a radiance mask once a week
I exercise every other day
I dont use waterproof mascara (removal is a pain and it irritates my eyes)
I use a retinol serum before going to bed to help with cell renewal
I take vit c and fish oil caps every day
Yes, Im high maintenance but it all works and the results are worth it ;)
My morning regimen:
2 glasses of water with hint of lemon+honey
apricot scrub (gentle scrubbing only)on the face
followed my moisturizer (i like olay's quench)
in the evening: i use foaming face wash +moisturizer
1ce in 2 weeks i use himalaya's neem face pack (it smells sooo divine) and nose-strips for the black heads...
i m telling u..this regimen works for me..i have terrible oily skin n had a history of acne...but there is a lot of improvement now...so i bet it helps...
n yea...not to sound cliche...exercise helps too...(dont know how) but it helps to bring in a healthy glow to the skin!!

Hey guys!
So i was wondering, what daily beauty regimen do you guys swear by?
as for me, i try to wash my face every morning and night (with besan) to reduce breakouts...but sometimes it doesnt work ;)
