ompletely agree with millie...star kids may get a launch pad easily but only a true artists survives... there are a lot of star kids who just couldnt make it..for egs puru..rajkumars son/sikander kher anupams son...neha oberoi..she is related some director/riya sen/Tanisha/twinkle/rinki khanna so the list is endless... for a long and there are artists like naseeruddin/smithapatil/amitabh/shahrukh/Kay Kay/Tabu/madhuri/ they had zero connections and came up the ladder with pure talent...

well, its true in many realms of life!esp true for glamor world--gotta accept that..may be talent hunts would help unknown talents. Star kids always will have an upper hand-gotta accept that. They dont have to deal with ppl like shakti kapoor who ask sexual favors in return. I would definitely advise gals n guys to join good acting schools before trying and approaching directors n producers!

When I actually put thought into the kinda dirty games that are played in Bollywood its not as simple as applying to be an accountant in a firm and sending in a resume to the company! .... Think about this... Srk at the time of Chalte Chalte was more popular than Aishwarya and took it away from her because of the whole aish-salman thing that was going on at the time. They didnt talk all this time and if I was aish i would have probably done the same but no one called srk into question cuz 1) hes a big star and 2) hes a dude! ... You know tables wud have turned so damn quick if the sexes were changed! and now he "kissed and made up with her" after her Hwood recognition and wether u hate her or like her u have to admit that when it comes to female actresses she has made a very well known name for her!....even without the bachchans entering the frame. So thats when the kissing of the ass began!...this is off-topic but I was just tryna show how politics is played in Bollwood!
Same with the star actors! I love Abhis personality but srsly when he stands by himself and without the Bachchan last name what has he really accomplished? ... When he first came in the industry he had NO face and no acting skills!...He looked ODD! ...ppl gave him chance after chance only cuz he was big b's son!...No way wud he have gotten it if he had an ordinary last name!... yet he was considered the most eligible bachelor! ...Like its a joke!
Yes he has agood personality but so does every other people I meet! That doesnt mean he shud be on the grounds of being praised! ...We meet ppl like that in our ordinary lives all the time! And Deepika and Anushka Sharma (2 new comers that dont have a famous name) only are famous cuz they starred next to srk as their first movie!...I think media as well as us ppl are to partially be blamed for it! Media only focuses on movies and ppl with star name and we only spend our money on brand names or famous last names! ...
Famous ppl in general dont even acknowlege on a daily bases that they are where they are, they are being treated like loyality where they are, they live in palaces completely out of touch with reality of real ppl BECAUSE OF US. yet very few and far in between do these ppl, really, genuinely thank us! living their lives without even having an identiy of their own lol

Okay, I think we have known dat film become family bussiness since long time ago, so it's not a surprise if some actors come from family film background. But pls remember some big names in this industry such as Aishwarya Rai, John Abraham, Amrita Rao, Priyanka Chopra,Bipasha Bashu,Kangana, Akshay Kumar, even Shah rukh (and many more if u want to know) who have no family film background!

I think the advantage of bein bollywood son n daughter is they are known more due to their family name. But everybody has to fight pursuing their step to B-Town now. U just know that they are from film family, so it will be more easy for them, U don see their struggle bfore. If they left college, so what?! They have good jobs that many poeple dreamin of! Are u jealous?

Only some reasons can make them survive in this industry; opportunity, talent,and hard work!

Actually Dreamy Girl.. AB went to Boston University and left it halfway to pursue acting. He did not go to OXFORD.. if he went to oxford.. he wudnt be acting!

wow abhi is oxford guy..must be so smart,the person i work for,her son or daughter is oxford, so smart they talk,i think both are oxford, but i am not 100 cent sure, but they botha are very smart and this lady told me you have to be smart for that, i think they are very rich too because of the fees.but then he is indias top stars son, i think fees are not such a big issue for them.but i did not know this.

Well, apparently Abhishek went to Oxford college which I believe because he does seem intelligent. Ranbir, I can't remember for what, has a degree in something.

so true. off late the next gen is sonakshi, narmada etc etc...no new faces... i havent seen any new faces in the last 1 year...
