sure, cosmetics does bring about a small change-- but there is some artifice which ppl sense too.

look at Frieda and Dev who are glowing light lightbulbs, being in love. they look magical together.. but at the Oscars, when Frieda's scandal with her fiancee broke out, it's like the light went out- she looked terrible that day. Now, she's happy again and glowing. that's the key- joy and being in love.

Not so sure about

Not so sure about moisturisers/creams that would make one's face glow, but I have noticed once I apply my sunscreen over my moisturiser, I notice a glowy shine. I use Shishedo Sunscreen.
One thing I do swear by is my weekly face masks, I mash fresh, ripe, orange papaya and apply onto my face after Ive cleansed and I then wash it off after 20 minutes.
The refreshing glow is amazing!
