I think for the options, you should add Vidya Balan for No One Killed Jessica too, as I felt she also played an equally important and challenging role. Hands down, I will go with Vidya Balan for either DP or NKJ...she's outdone everybody as far as this year is concerned.
Undoubtedly Vidya i the best actress not only for 2011 but for the whole time she work in bollywood....She just rocked in Dirty Pictures & specially her tuning with Nasiruddin Shah & John Abraham is just rockkkking....Love you vidya u have ruled....<3

Kareena Kapoor 4 Ra.one or Bodyguard..shez the bestst actress of bollywood..
Anushka played her 2 roles very well. Middle class sales girl/glamour puss US NRI. The scene where both her and ranveer are confused about their feelings the morning after a big night out was very beautifully played out. Her expressions as she opens the door expecting Mr Vikram Thapar (ranveer in Goa) was spot on. So was ranveer. They both deserve to win. I liked the movie. A TV journo (NDTV) asked what was the movie's USP - well I say it is a Desi movie with international flavour and very well played - all cast, the ladies, Anushka and Ranveer. The movie was very entertaining. Raja Sen's 1.5 was biased in that he expected more. Why have any expectations, go with the flow to see what you find. I paid my $18.00 to see this movie in the theatre and I can see it again. Anushka Ranveer jodi rocks. Parineeti was a big pain. Deepanita and Aditi acted very well. Aditi's line watching Vikram eating alone was the best line and she delivered it very well. I reckon, all who are applauding Parineeti are on Piggy's paycheck.

The most difficult role a actress could have ever done I challenge apart from VIDYA and rani no other heroine could have done even kareena even Katrina even Anushka or any other. PC rocks she has the guts like VIDYA to try something different
the award should go to Kareena but for Bodyguard not Ra.one...
