What do you mean? that's only the production cost. What about the promotion cost? they went everywhere around the world..dug up every corner in India to promote this movie.

The film has made 60 crores. It's production cost was around 50 crores. So the movie is not a flop since it made more money than it's cost of production.....it's basic math people.

It should be a flop, the way katrina was going in her career seems like she was getting her stardom top of the head and then she fell down wothout being with salman.
he created her in bollywood she have to respect him not trying to create any controversy.

I think this movie will be a flop ... I mean come on some people probably are so bored with akshay and katrina as co-stars , and farah khan well she just jots down a crap movie script ..... seriously they should of chosen someone else instead of akshay .. but he is an all right actor its just that katrina <<<< thats what is going make the film a big flop ... say it was kareena or something !

the movie should have been sensored as it was a watse to watch this movie which hankered on one stupid song with a actress who danced to it like a porn actress.
Very cheap considering she is a moslim woman and exposes everything an leaves nothing to imagination.
I prefer a good story line and anyways this actress needs to go for major acting lessons to last in the industry now that she is not with Salman Khan

Tees Maar Khan is not at all a bad film,its an Entertaining movie & Katrina Kaif's Sheila Ki Jawani Rockzzzzzzz..So ya of course it will be a Hit..

Tees Maar Khan How many of you have heard about the most famous Hollywood comedian (after Charlie Chaplin of course) Peter Sellers? If not, please watch his movie The Party. Anyway, the point to bring up a man of such repertoire is because his films are still inspiring a lot of filmmakers from Bollywood. Peter Sellers 1966 Italian film After The Fox (Caccia Alla Volpe) is one such example. Yes, you heard it. But the word 'inspiration' is too cliche. It's 'similarities' that count when our filmmakers get inspired. After a bit of research, we found out that one of the most anticipated films of this year, Tees Maar Khan, is a fully inspired version of the 1966 comedy, After The Fox starring Peter Sellers. And after watching the trailer, here are some of the 'similarities' evident between both the films: Peter Sellers plays Aldo Vanucci (aka the Fox), one of the greatest criminals of the world, and master of disguise. After Aldo escapes from the Italian prison he was held in, he meets again with his friends, and plans to retrieve the "gold of Cairo" a large shipment of gold, that waits to be unloaded somewhere in Italy. Aldo devices the perfect plan. Posing as a famous director, he finds the ideal coastal village to unload the shipment, and persuades the entire population that he has chosen their village as the set for his new movie. Everybody, including the idiot chief of the local police is so excited, that they can't even imagine that in fact they are helping the Fox to get the "gold of Cairo". 1. After The Fox: Peter Sellers plays a master of disguises thief who makes an entire village a movie set to pull off a heist. Tees Maar Khan: Akshay Kumar plays a master of disguises who makes an entire village into a movie set to pull off a heist. 2. ATF: Victor Mature plays a vain movie star acting in the "film within the film" and Sellers plays on his vanity. In the past, we have seen many Bollywood filmmakers getting inspired by World cinema and Hollywood films and making their own desi versions of the films without realizing the consequences. Well, it's time they do! In fact in the recent past, many Hollywood studios have taken Bollywood producers to court due to plagiarism and copyright infringement. Will Tees Maar Khan producers also face the music now? Well, this is something that only time will tell.

Hope the movie is a flop and all is held responsible for trying to take credit for things that are not rightfully

definitley a HUUGE flop. people are already saying this is farah ki aag. LOL. to anon saying critics are unfair to akshay. well, if he makes a descent movie with actual and original comedy like hera pheri, then critics and people will like it. i am so sick of akshay doing such humorless and dry movies which he markets as brainless comedy. i used to like him but after so many duds, he is losing his fan base and no lucky charm will help him. maybe he should pick better scripts that have real comedy in them.
