Yes, the team will be working again together post the completion of SLB's 'Ram Leela'. It's a remake of a Tamil film, Ramana (2002) which Akshay believes, conveys a message and would be received warmly by the audience.
The film will be produced by SLB, directed by Prabhudeva and Akshay will be seen as the lead male. It will be directed by the original director of the film, Krish who's making quite a name down south and is now, extremely excited to enter BW. The film is titled to be 'Gabbar'. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has put to bed the recent rumours of him reviving his dream project Bajirao Mastani anytime soon. Bhansali says, “At the moment I am only focusing on Ram Leela. I am not even thinking about any other project.”

Yes, this could actually happen as Sanjay Leela Bhansali is in talks with both the ladies for the leading female characters in Bajirao Mastani. The film, one of SLB's most ambitious projects have been delayed 14 years and now, SLB is determined to make it. Earlier, he was set on Aishwarya and Shahrukh but that did not pan out. Before that, he wanted to make the film with Salman Khan and Aishwarya but was not able to due to the couple's fallout.

So a lot of people have been commenting on how Deepika shares a similar attitude, aura, and in certain photos, even the looks with Aishwarya Rai. The opinions are divided but Sanjay Leela Bhansali certainly seems to think that the actresses share similarities. Apparently, at the sets of 'Ram Leela' he's often called Deepika "Aish" by mistake as the actress reminds him of Ms. Rai.
