Rani Mukerji was felicitated by Naresh Chandra, Pro Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, K.M. Vasudevan, Pillai Founder, Chairman and C.E.O. Mahatma Education Society, Pillai Group of Intuitions Chembur, Mumbai, on Tuesday. The actress was honoured at the fifth International Commerce and Management Conference and Felicitation Ceremony organized by Mumbai University.
The “Aiyaa” actress was honoured for her contribution to the cine industry through her powerful woman centric roles in movies like “Veer-Zaara”, “Black”, “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna” and “No One Killed Jessica”.

Rani Mukerji starrer ‘Mardaani’ might go for a sequel, if the rumours turn out to be true. The film that dealt with human trafficking portrayed Rani Mukerji as a no non-sense and tough cop.
As Midday reports, sources say that Pradeep Sarkar has been pursued by YRF honcho Aditya Chopra to work on the second installment. Adi’s wife, Rani also had a sitting with Pradeep Sarkar to hear the script but she didn't like it and is waiting for the perfect screenplay.

'Mardaani' to premiere in Poland in 2015

'Mardaani' to premiere in Poland in 2015

Rani Mukerji-starrer "Mardaani" will premiere in Poland Jan 19, 2015.
Kicking off in Warsaw, Krakow and Lodz, the movie will then be scaled out to Lublin, Wroclaw, Poznan, Gdansk, Katowice with Polish subtitles, said a statement from the film's production banner Yash Raj Films.
The Polish release is also special for the film as it was shot by a native of Poland, director of photography, Artur Zurawski.
The Pradeep Sarkar directorial features raw, unswerving and invincible Shivani Shivaji Roy, senior inspector, crime branch, Mumbai police, embodied by Rani.
