Chitrangada Singh - the name is enough to bring back memories of the unaduleterated simple beauty from Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. The movie that marked her debut did not make it big at the box office. But, Chitrangada grabbed everyone's attention. After Hazaaron, she acted in another off-beat movie Sorry Bhai and went away from the limelight.
She came back in 2011 only to foray into commercial cinema. Desi Boyz did not do much for her. And going by the way she has taken her career path, it seems like she ismore interested and will stick to commerical cinema.

Chitrangada Singh who stars in an item-number in Shirish Kunder's Joker was seen in the joint Ad for PETA and the film, Joker.
In the Ad, she is seen bleeding when an alien injects her with a syringe-like mascara wand. The caption reads, "What If Aliens Tested on Humans? Ban Cosmetics Testing on Animals!" The apparent moral is that it is dreadful and dangerous to test cosmetics on animals - and the government should ban it.

Thats nice of Chitrangada to promote Joker considering she only has a item number in the movie.
