It was a Nachiket Barve SS ’13 sari for Sameera Reddy at a recent event. She chose to wear the shaded pink and yellow sari with floral embroidery along with a matching pink blouse sporting silver borders. While the sari itself is lovely, Sameera looks slightly washed out in it. Also wish she had opted for the purple blouse that the model on the runway teamed the drape with.
Sameera Reddy opted for a printed Hermès flowy number to sport at a recent event. Staying loyal to the brand, a sleek black Hermès Kelly bag completed her look. Black pumps and hair pulled up in a bun, completed her look. She sure worked the look and looked particularly radiant.
The third year of Shabana Azmi’s NGO, Mijwan Welfare Society, hosted a fashion show, Mijwan Sonnets in Fabric 2012 on 3rd September at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The highlight was Mijwan’s female population had their craftsmanship showcased on ramp, by leading models and celebrities, through Manish Malhotra’s designs. The 2012 edition of the show showcased embroidery done entirely by the girls of Mijwan. Manish has translated work done by Mijwan girls into contemporary modern designs.
