Although only three B-town cult movies — Mother India, Salaam Bombay and Lagaan — have managed to make it to the Oscars listing, the enthusiasm to nominate their films for selections to the big O is unabated among Indian filmmakers.

Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’ is all set to be released on 21st September, which also happens to be Kareena's birthday, in 2400 screens spread across the country. While Madhur, Kareena, Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda have pulled out all stops to promote the movie, there is one factor that they may have underestimated- Barfi.
