If rumours are to be believed, Karan Johar is set to remake another Amitabh Bachchan movie, the 1982-release Bemisal starring Rakhee & Vinod Mehra, and wants Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play the female lead in the movie.

The Filmfare nominations won’t be announced until January 2013, but people are already buzzing about who will make the cut. Of course many of the films that will vie for the prize have not yet been released so trying to figure out which films and performances will be recognized by the audience and jury at this point is probably the height of lunacy.
Still, I can’t resist speculating on the acting nominees and which 6 films will be up for Best Film. Check out my predictions below and let me know if you think I’m completely nuts.

Karan doesn’t deny the criticism he received for the sketchy role Priyanka Chopra played in the film. Some dubbed it half-baked while others thought that the actress was wasted.
“Yes, Priyanka deserved a much bigger role ,” he agrees. “I wish I could’ve given her a bigger role. It was extremely kind of her to agree to do it. She knew it was a male-dominated film. But I wouldn’t agree if someone said that the role was half-baked.”
