In an exclusive tete-a-tete, PEOPLE’s latest cover star Sushant Singh Rajput opens up on his
hugely successful debut film Kai Po Che as well as looks back on his decision in 2011 to quit the popular
daily soap Pavitra Rishta.
Relieved that his risk paid off and seemingly poised for big things, the actor with promise says, “I quit TV because I stopped learning. I didn’t want to be a star. I wanted to enjoy the process of filmmaking and work on my craft.”
