The show Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hain is surely one of the most popular shows in the comic genre with a massive viewership among the audience but it seems that the makers of the show have managed to get entangled themselves in a nasty controversy. The show never fails to keep their audience hooked by their entertaining plot lines but a recent plot sequence may have landed the makers in trouble. The makers of the show have recently received a legal notice by the election commission. With the election dates here, the law clearly states that no one has the authority or the liberty to promote or advertise any political party through any mediums like advertisement, movies or television shows.

But it looks like the makers of Bhabhiiji Ghar Pe Hain have now violated this major rule by showing their favor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through one of their recent sequences. So, the makers were slapped with a legal notice by the Election Commission with the election season nearing which has now clearly landed the makers in a soup. However, the makers of the show were not far behind and were vocal enough to share their side of the story.

Screenwriter Raghuvir Shekhawat revealed that the makers have received the notice and the producer will be responding soon to this issue. Raghuvir revealed this in a recent conversation with Satyam Tripathy at Vartalap which was a screen writers association event held in Mumbai recently. Raghuvir revealed, “We didn’t mention any opposition party’s name, neither did we target any party. Everything was done in a limited way. We only promoted Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and the man behind the cause, that’s it.”
