Nakuul Mehta is not just a fabulous actor onscreen but also a hero offscreen. Never the one to mince his words and the first in the fraternity to lend his voice to important subjects. With the Me Too movement finally reaching India, Nakuul is amongst the few celebs who has not just lauded but also encouraged more people to come forward and share their experiences.

Among others, a name which startled everyone was that of Union Minister MJ Akbar, who has been accused of sexual harassment by not one but many women on social media. Akbar, who was offshores, has now given it a political spin and has instead filed a defamation suit against Priya Ramani, a journalist for levelling harassment allegations against him. If this wasn't enough, according to latest information, MJ Akbar has around 97 lawyers defending him in the legal route, while Priya is left in isolation.

Many people on the social media have now come forward to urge people to raise funds so that Priya is not isolated in this fight against harassment. Nakuul too wants to contribute for this cause and took to Twitter to inquire about the same. He wrote, "'Men can be either passive bystanders or active participants.' This is the MOST important piece every MAN must read today. @samar11 , is there any way I could contribute towards this fight?"

Well, we are sure with him taking the lead, many others will follow suit. Here's to everyone fighting for the cause! Meanwhile, Government of India's deafening silence on the matter has left everyone appalled.

Well done Nakuul.
