The Pulwama terror attack which took place on Thursday left the entire nation jolting with anger. Claiming more than 40 lives of the Central Reserve Police Force personnel and injuring many, the Pulwama attack is considered the worst one since the start of this century. While the soldiers have been giving a befitting reply to the perpetrators killing the masterminds in an encounter, a different war is ensuing on social media.

Navjot Singh Sidhu, who was earlier seen on the show The Kapil Sharma Show, was replaced overnight over his comment on the attack wherein he emphasised that for a "handful of people" you cannot blame the entire nation (read- Pakistan). Kapil too came out in support of Singh and said that while he is with the government, banning or replacing Sidhu is not the solution. Ever since then, Boycott Kapil Sharma has been trending on Twitter and not just that, fans have asked Bhai, Salman Khan, to take strict action against Kapil for this.

Chief Advisor of The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) tweeted to Salman saying, "Dear @BeingSalmanKhan . Would like U to act against @KapilSharmaK9 for supporting @sherryontopp ‘ s antinational activities. This request is being made to U as you are the producer of the show.  #BoycottKapilSharma @SonyTV"

If you are wondering why Bhai? Well, for those unaware, Salman Khan's production house, Salman Khan Films, is producing The Kapil Sharma Show. Salman with his family Salim Khan, Sohail Khan and others even graced one of the episodes of the new season for the show.

Meanwhile, understanding the sentiments of the masses, Salman replaced Atif Aslam's song for his movie Notebook following the attack.

It is very easy to give title of anti national to others but I want to ask these trolls : what have they done to support families of martyred jawans? It is very easy to sit in ur living room and give big statements , who will take real action ?

The question is how did Bomb material with huge car get into a place where one armed to the teeth soldier is appointed for seven Kashmiris and a checkpost at every block. It smells a big dirty fish

Showing a strong emotional response towards your own people may satisfy the emotions of the populace for now but as politicians on all sides know this will die down in a week and then unfortunately it's business as usual.

Sad part is a lot of politicians on both sides probably have a vested interest in these kinds of attacks. The only people who truly suffer are the families of the killed soldiers, rest is collateral damage

If people really want to do something productive to words this problem they should push the government to form strong intelligence committees to prevent these kinds of attacks and above all have fundraisers to help the families of soldiers that are true sufferers, rest unfortunately is all drama for some people to get popular in the media who are normally persona non grata

Wake up Indians if you want to save your country! Don't blame anyone before investigating and knowing the truth, try to understand that this attack was done by PM Modi and BJP, because the election is coming ahead. He killed many of his own people and soldiers, and you all support him.

Oh my god - enough is enough! People can say whatever they want! Focus on the real issues! Hold your government accountable instead of boycotting TV shows.
