Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna will be seen in Sanjivani 2 starting today. The show premieres at 7:30 PM on Star Plus and is one of the most anticipated shows this year. With an ensemble cast including Mohnish Bahl, Gurdeep Kohli, and others, Sanjivani 2 promises a lot of banter, love and emotional graph which will strike a chord with everyone. As the show begins today, we list down five reasons why the will be a delight to watch.

1. Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna: Surbhi, who rose to fame with Ishqbaaaz, is the biggest reason to watch the show. As Surbhi transits from being "sirf Annika" to Dr Ishani, who is ashamed of her surname, Chandna attempt for versatility is endearing. While there is no doubt that Surbhi is one of the most talented actresses today, Surbhi as Ishani brings in a complex character which highlights her prowess as an actor. Namit Khanna, on the other hand, is impressive from his very first shot. The actor has earlier worked in a show and a web series, but this can be considered as his foray into television!

2. Tu Tu Main Main: The 'not-so-friendly' banter between Surbhi and Namit on the show is one of the biggest highlights of the show. The two resident doctors instantly get into an argument and boy, their respective characteristics make it interesting to watch them fight. Surbhi and Namit's fresh chemistry helps them unravel their comfort zone with each other.

3. Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Kohli: Sanjivani 2 is the third instalment in the franchise after Sanjivani: A Medical Boom and Dill Mill Gayye. The only two people who have been retained in the third instalment are Mohnish Bahl (Dr Shashank Gupta) and Gurdeep Kohli (Dr Juhi) who bring back the nostalgia on the show. As soon as Mohnish Bahl enters the show with the iconic Sanjivani tune playing the background, there is no way your eyes won't lit up with sheer nostalgia.

4. Real issues: Unlike the last season DMG, Sanjivani will be highlighting many relevant issues related to corruption in the medical sector. The show has already shown a difference in the ideology between Shashank and Vardhan (Rohit Roy). While the former is all about nobility, the latter is only worried about the commercialisation of the sector. These interesting layers of the characters make it worth the while to come back to the show every episode.

5. Breaking the clutter: Among the Naagins and Chhipkalis and the never-ending saas-bahu sagas, here is a young show which we are seeing after quite some time. The show will not only focus on the doctors and their relationships with everyone but also bring back romance on Indian television.
