Did you just buy the wrong shade of foundation? Here's how you can fix it and use
Using the wrong shade of foundation can look very tacky and cheap and fixing the shade may end up being too expensive. But there are less expensive ways to fix your wrong shade of foundation.

Finding the perfect shade of foundation as per our Indian skin tone is not as easy. Most brands don't make the perfect shades of our skin tones. This is why we end up investing a lot of our hard-earned money in concealers, correctors and what not. All of this just because we couldn't find the right shade of foundation. Most of the times, we end up buying the wrong shade because the lighting in the beauty store is very different from our homes or from the natural lights. While it seems like a great idea to do some mixing and matching to find the right shade but we are not a mad artist and that's not how difficult makeup should be. Instead of struggling with all these problems and trying to fix another shade of foundation or corrector to fix the wrong shade you have bought, you can do some other things to make your foundation more useful.
Here are the things that you can do when you have bought the wrong foundation shade.
1. If you've made the mistake of buying a shade darker, simply blend it with your concealer or mix it with a moisturizer. A little moisturizer can lighten your foundation and you can set it with finishing powder. But if you've bought a way darker shade and it has become impossible to use, worry not. There's always a solution. Use your foundation as a bronzer or use it to contour. Instead of investing a contouring pallet or a bronzer, you can use the foundation that you bought by mistake.
2. If you've made the mistake of buying a lighter shade of foundation, you can fix it by using the right bronzer and contouring. If your face looks too light just brush it a little with some bronzer or contouring powder in the right places and sculpt it well. You can also use the lighter shades to highlight your face. Replace your highlighter with your lighter shade of foundation.
3. We Indians have a very different skin tone and finding the right shade can be a task if you've ended up with a foundation that has a yellow undertone that does not go with your skin tone there's a way to fix it. Apply a thin layer and fix it with your compact or setting powder. You can also mix it with a lighter shade of concealer or foundation to fix it. Adding a slight coat of blush will do the job well.
4. The fair Indian skin tone is not pale but we often end up with foundations that have a pink or pale undertone. You can use a bronzer or a darker shade of setting powder or compact to fix the shade. This ensures that you don't look ashy and pale.
