Actor, director, and social activist Rahul Bose is known for working in the Indian Film Industry. He was born on 27th July, 1967 to Rupen and Kumud Bose. He started his career at a very young age. He was raised in Kolkata but later shifted to Mumbai where he completed his education. After graduating, Rahul started working in an advertising firm as a copywriter. However, his first acting role was at the age of 6 when he played the lead role in a school play. He was also into boxing and rugby and also competed in the Western India Championships and won a silver medal in boxing. Rahul started his acting career as a lead actor on stage with plays like Topsy Turvey and Are There Tigers in the Congo? Later, he made his silver screen debut with the film English, August which went on to become very successful. Then, Rahul Bose started working in television and was seen in the English language television serial, A Mouthful of Sky. Next, he was seen in Bombay Boys with actor Naseeruddin Shah. After experimenting with several roles, he made his debut in Bollywood with the film Jhankaar Beats which was a sleeper hit. Next, he was seen in several films such as Ek Din 24 Ghante, Chameli, Silsillay, 15 Park Avenue, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Shaurya, Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam, Kaalpurush, The Japanese Wife, Laptop, Dil Dhadakne Do, Bulbul, and so on. Rahul Bose is known for working in several off-beat movies. He also made his debut into playback singing in 2006 with the song Akash Chhorano Megher. He made his debut as a producer in 2017 with Poorna: Courage Has No Limit.
