True to Aamir Khan’s love for keeping his private life deeply personal, he and his girlfriend Gauri Spratt have chosen to ditch the traditional, oversized Bollywood gala for an elegant, low-profile registry at home.
But that doesn’t mean there would be no preparations. Ahead of the big day, the actor’s luxurious residence in Mumbai has transformed into a hub of joyful celebrations. The quiet lanes of Pali Hill are buzzing with festive energy. The paparazzi spotted signs of a grand, yet deeply intimate, celebration underway.
Aamir’s floor has been beautifully decorated with warm fairy lights wrapping around the balconies and windows, which would light up the residence in the evening. The tent vendors and decorators have officially arrived on site to map out the layout, ensuring every corner of the venue is flawlessly arranged. Fleets of chairs and elegant decor are currently being moved into the property to accommodate the tightly curated guest list.
Yesterday, the Sitaare Zameen Par actor happily confirmed the wedding plans with a warm smile. He informed the media, “Yes, I'm getting married on July 5. It's going to be a very intimate wedding, and we're having it at home. It will be a small ceremony with just our families and a few close friends. We're keeping it simple and celebrating at home. We would love to have everyone's blessings.”
According to reports, the couple will officially kick off the festivities during the first half of the day by registering their marriage inside the residence. Keeping the circle tight, only immediate family, childhood friends, and a handful of close industry peers have been invited.
Rumors suggest that filmmakers Ashutosh Gowariker and Raj Kumar Santoshi would mark their presence at the event. Aamir’s children from his previous marriages, actor Junaid Khan, entrepreneur Ira Khan, and his youngest son, Azad Rao Khan, are all actively participating in the wedding prep and festivities.
