Aamir Khan’s brother Faissal Khan apologizes to him, family ahead of star's wedding: ‘Want to be on good terms’
Aamir Khan’s brother Faissal Khan had earlier levied serious allegations against his family, and now it seems the Mela actor is eager to resolve their personal issues.
Aamir Khan's brother and former actor Faissal Khan had previously made headlines after making allegations against Aamir Khan and other members of his family. Now, after revealing that he has been cleared by a hospital regarding his mental well-being, Faissal has sought forgiveness from his family ahead of Aamir's wedding with Gauri Spratt.
Faissal Khan apologizes to Aamir Khan and family after prior allegations
Speaking to YouTuber Ujjwal Trivedi, Faissal Khan said, “I first want to apologize to my Ammi that I made the mistake of saying everything in public. I want to apologize to Ammi and Nikhat because a man tends to say it all whatever he’s been feeling and suppressing for all this while. I’d gone overboard with Nikhat and her husband Santosh Hegde, which I shouldn’t have said at all. It was very wrong.”
The former actor added, “I’ve realized my mistake now, hence asking for forgiveness. I also said bad things about Aamir. I just want to continue with our decision to be on good terms going forward. I wish our relationship becomes even stronger.”
Faissal Khan concluded by saying that it was a different phase of his life. He added that when his family took him to a doctor, the diagnosis may have been incorrect. He further said that when the court sent him to a government hospital, he was given a clean chit there.
According to Faissal, it was possible that some doctors had misled his family. He expressed hope that his family would trust, believe, and understand him instead of dwelling on the “bad blood from the past.”
Faissal added that members of his family held differing views about his mental condition. He claimed that while some members of the family believed what the doctor had said, others trusted what he was saying. According to Faissal, his elder sister, Nikhat, had told him multiple times that he did not have schizophrenia. He also claimed that his mother and Santosh had said the same.
For those unaware, Faissal Khan is a former actor and singer who predominantly worked in Hindi cinema. The son of producer Tahir Hussain, he made his debut as a child artist in Shashi Kapoor's Pyar Ka Mausam.
After making his lead debut with Madhosh (1994), he went on to appear in several films over the years, including Mela, Chand Bujh Gaya, and Border Hindustan Ka. He was last seen in the Kannada film Oppanda (2022), starring Arjun Sarja.
