Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt is making waves for her recent visit to the Cannes Film Festival 2026. On Wednesday, the Alpha actress took to her Instagram handle and dropped a reel from the red carpet, flaunting her regal look in a custom ivory silk saree-gown. While many were mesmerized by her fashion goals, a few trolled the actress for being ignored by the international paparazzi at the Cannes Film Festival.
A troll commented on her reel, "What a pity no one noticed you (laughing emoji)." Alia took it gracefully and responded with, "Why pity love? You noticed me :)." Her response took over the internet, with fans flooding her comment section.
A social media user wrote, "Outfits and replies are clocking." Another one commented, "Omg you ate her up with this girly, you stole the entire spot at Cannes." A third fan wrote, "Damn, wasn’t expecting the soft glam look. such a doll."
For the unversed, Alia Bhatt walked the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival for the second time, after her 2025 debut. Her Cannes look met with love and appreciation from several celebs from the film industry, including Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sobhita Dhulipala, Sunny Leone, and others.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Jigra. She is next awaiting the release of Alpha, the first female spy film in the much-popular YRF Spy Universe. The actress will be seen joining forces with Sharvari and Bobby Deol. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the movie is slated for a grand July 10, 2026, release. She is currently busy with the production of Tumbbad 2, where the actress will be seen in a short but important role. The actress also has Love & War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, in the pipeline.
