Alpha: Alia Bhatt reveals what makes the spy film special; Calls it “celebration of attitude and movies”

Bollywood's latest spy actioner, Alpha is gearing up to bring a fresh dynamic to the big screen, with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari leading a high-octane spectacle. Positioned as a large-scale entertainer, the film places two women at the center of a genre traditionally dominated by male heroes, making it one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
Alia Bhatt opened up about her experience of filming Alpha and revealed that the project ranks among the most enjoyable shoots of her career. The actress spoke about stepping into the world of action and embracing a genre that challenged her in new ways.

Sharing her excitement, Alia said, “I had such a good time making Alpha. It’s probably one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had on a film set. There was something really exciting about stepping into this world of action, scale and adventure. It pushed me in ways I hadn’t experienced before and I loved every bit of it.”
The actress added that the film’s biggest strength lies in the fact that two women are driving the narrative and action. According to her, Alpha represents a refreshing shift in mainstream cinema while delivering a thoroughly entertaining theatrical experience.
“What I loved most was that at the heart of it were two women leading all the action. We don’t get to see that very often and I had a lot of fun being part of that. Alpha is a celebration of attitude and a celebration at the movies,” Alia shared.
Beyond the action and scale, Alia credited the cast and crew for creating a memorable atmosphere on set. She revealed that the collective enthusiasm of everyone involved made the journey even more rewarding.
The actor says, “What made it even more special was getting to do it with such a fantastic group of people. Whether it was our director, cast, the action team, or the crew behind the scenes, there was a real sense of excitement around what we were making and I think some of that energy found its way onto the screen. I genuinely looked forward to going to set every morning and I loved every minute of it.”
