Power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have once again melted hearts with their sheer humility and grounded nature. After leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to a historic IPL 2026 championship title, Virushka chose to celebrate the massive milestone with a spiritual retreat.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma offer prayers in Mathura-Vrindavan

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma made a private visit to Vrindavan in the Mathura district to seek the divine blessings of spiritual leader, Premanand Ji Maharaj. Rather than making a loud entry, they flew down to the spiritual place in a low-key manner.

Videos from the ashram show the couple exuding immense simplicity. Dressed in comfortable, traditional attire with tilak smeared across their foreheads, they were seen walking in the wilderness with wild animals, absorbing the peaceful atmosphere. They were joined by Virat’s brother and sister-in-law.

Take a look:

In the clip, the Chakda Xpress actress can be seen wearing a simple white kurta-pajama set with a pink dupatta, which she used to cover her head. As for the man of the hour, Virat arrived wearing a brown sweatshirt with beige pants. The couple wore masks while roaming around barefoot in the backyard of the ashram.

This is not the first time Virat and Anushka have sought refuge in the spiritual realms of Mathura. Over the past few years, they have frequently made unannounced trips to the famous Baba Neem Karoli Ashram in Kainchi Dham, as well as multiple visits to Premanand Maharaj's ashram during crucial career points.

Their recent visit to the Holy place comes at a time when Virat showed his calibre as an ace Indian cricketer and impressed his fans by coming out as the Player of the Match for the recently concluded IPL 2026 tournament.

At the final match that took place on Sunday, Kohli's team, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, defeated the Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets to win the IPL title for the second consecutive time. In the final match, he scored the fastest half-century of his IPL career. After lifting the trophy, the couple was seen having a blast with their teammates at the success bash.
