The wait is finally over! The trailer of the highly anticipated Karan Johar-backed romantic drama, Chand Mera Dil, is here, and it’s everything a Bollywood romance fan could ask for. While the clip opens up with showcasing the love story of Chandni and Aarav, the butterflies quickly fly away after an incident breaks them apart.

After teasing fans with a soulful musical album featuring hits like Aitbaar and Khasiyat, the makers of Chand Mera Dil have finally unveiled the official trailer. Directed by Vivek Soni, the film marks the first-ever pairing of Ananya Panday and Lakshya.
The trailer gives the audience a first look at the intense chemistry between the protagonists, along with a breakdown of the film's emotional storyline.
Set against a vibrant yet grounded backdrop, the trailer introduces us to Aarav (Lakshya) and Chandni (Ananya Panday). The lives of the two engineering students collide in an unpredictable whirlwind of campus romance, deep-seated passion, and the stinging reality of heartbreak.
The 2-minute 54-second trailer is all about the chemistry. Ananya looks ethereal in dreamy pastel silhouettes, while Lakshya breaks free from his reputation as a protective lover to become vulnerable young man. For the Gen-Z couple, life is happening faster than love. “A love story that’s not perfect, not planned, just a little real,” is the trailer post's caption.

The trailer reflects the emotion that it’s not just happily ever after in every love story. It gives the audience a Saiyaara-level emotional rollercoaster, making the audience wonder if the two films hold any similarity.
After the jolting incident creates a gap between the lovey-dovey couple, it makes us wonder if the legendary tale of romance will end on a tragic and horrible note or if everything will fall in place eventually. Well, to know more, the audience will have to wait till May 22, 2026, when the film will make its big screen debut.
