Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone made a striking appearance at Mumbai airport as she returned from Cape Town. This time, she wasn't accompanied by Ranveer Singh or daughter Dua.
After a whirlwind filming schedule in the scenic locales of Cape Town, South Africa, mom-to-be Deepika Padukone was spotted touching down at Mumbai’s airport in the early hours of Thursday morning. The actress has been busy filming the highly anticipated action-thriller King, in which she reunites with her most iconic co-star, Shah Rukh Khan.

Deepika Padukone is known for her impeccable travel style. This time again, she didn't disappoint. Proving that maternity fashion can be both edgy and comfortable, she opted for a striking, oversized cobalt-blue co-ord set. The silhouette was relaxed and breezy, perfectly concealing her growing baby bump.
However, it was the footwear that stole the show. Deepika added a vibrant pop of contrast with bright yellow sneakers. She rounded off the look with classic dark sunglasses, a sleek ponytail, and her pregnancy glow.

Deepika’s return marks the wrap of a significant international schedule for King. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film has been the talk of the town due to several leaked behind-the-scenes clips that went viral last week. In one of the clips, her husband Ranveer Singh was spotted with their daughter Dua Padukone Singh as DP and SRK were filming a soulful song at the waterfront.
After the visuals were spread widely online, Siddharth requested fans not to circulate leaked multimedia from the sets of King. In his social media post, he further penned, “The team is working round the clock to ensure the best cinematic experience for everyone. Let us wait for the surprise on the big screen and for the assets to be revealed as the team of King originally intends to. Thank you for your love, support and cooperation.”
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases. The film marks a milestone as it features Shah Rukh Khan alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan, with Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, Akshay Oberoi, Karanvir Malhotra, Saurabh Shukla, and more.
With the completion of the South African leg, the film moves closer to its ambitious theatrical release on December 25, 2026.
