After a mutual discussion between Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar, Dhamaal 4 is expected to release on July 17, 2026, avoiding a clash with Welcome To The Jungle.
Ajay Devgn starrer Dhamaal 4 was initially expected to release on July 4, 2026. However, it now appears that the film may be postponed to July 17, 2026, in order to avoid a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, Ajay Devgn reportedly spoke to Akshay Kumar, and following mutual discussions, the makers decided to shift the release of Dhamaal 4 from July 4 to July 17, 2026.
With Welcome To The Jungle scheduled to release on June 26, 2026, the change is expected to provide both films with a better release window and help avoid a major box office clash. Moreover, both projects are multi-starrer family comedy entertainers.
Reportedly, a source quoted by the publication stated that Ajay and Akshay had been friends for a long time, even before they became massive stars. The source further added that both actors also produced films apart from acting and understood the importance of giving every film sufficient breathing space. Hence, the discussion reportedly went smoothly, and they mutually agreed that audiences would need a gap between the two comedy films.
Dhamaal 4 brings the comedy franchise back to life once again, with core cast members Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, and Jaaved Jaaferi returning to reprise their roles. Moreover, actors Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Ravi Kishan, and others have joined the cast in new roles.
On the other hand, Welcome To The Jungle, led by Akshay Kumar, is also a multi-starrer featuring Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, and others in key roles.

Looking ahead, Ajay Devgn is currently working on Drishyam 3. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the crime drama franchise is set to continue with Devgn reprising his role as Vijay Salgaonkar once again.
Moreover, he also has films like Ranger and Golmaal 5 in the pipeline, with the latter expected to reunite him with the Sooryavanshi actor once again.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar also has Haiwaan, alongside Saif Ali Khan, and another project with director Anees Bazmee in the works.
