Even after days of him leaving for his heavenly abode, his daughter Esha Deol remembers him with fondness and the love they shared. Esha Deol remembers Dharmendra during the New Year celebration
All of us want to step into 2026 with positivity and hope, holding the hands of our dear ones. But for the Deol family, it’s overwhelming as they lost their loving father, Bollywood icon Dharmendra. But amid all the New Year celebrations, Esha Deol hasn’t forgotten to seek blessings from her dad in heaven.
Hence, she took to Instagram and dropped two lovely images, showcasing her profound love for her daddy dearest. The photo album opens with the actress pointing towards the shy, midway through her New Year celebrations. In the second, zoomed-out image, we see ‘Love you papa’ writing in the cloudy sky with Dubai’s Burj Khalifa in the background. In the caption, she expressed, “Stay blessed, happy, healthy & strong. Love you all.”

Upon seeing Esha’s lovely tribute to their dad on NYE, Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol couldn’t resist showering it with love. Hence, they took to the comments sections and dropped multiple red heart emojis.
Weeks after the sad demise of her father, Esha took to social media and dropped multiple images with him. She penned a long note, talking about their strong bond that goes beyond realms. In her emotional letter to her ‘darling Papa’, the Dhoom actress expressed, “Our pact, the strongest bond. “us” through all our lifetimes, all the realms and beyond. We are always together papa. Be it heaven or earth. We are one. For now, I have very tenderly, carefully & preciously tucked you in my heart, deep deep inside to carry on with me for the rest of this lifetime.”
She added, “I so painfully miss you papa, your warm protective hugs that felt like the cosiest blanket, holding your soft yet strong hands which had unspoken messages & your voice calling out my name that followed with endless conversations, laughter & shayaris. I promise to continue your legacy with pride & respect.”
