Govinda’s son Yashvrdhn Ahuja’s debut film Hero Ki Horrorine to hit the theaters in 2027
Yashvrdhn Ahuja will co-star along with his mother Sunita Ahuja in his Bollywood debut.
Yashvrdhn Ahuja, son of actor Govinda, is all set to begin his Bollywood journey as a leading man. The actor will make his much-awaited Hindi film debut with Hero Ki Horrorine, a horror-comedy with romance, supernatural elements and humor. The film will see Yashvrdhn share the screen with Laapataa Ladies fame Nitanshi Goel, who will play the female lead.

The makers recently announced the project, revealing an ensemble cast that includes Jamie Lever, Chunky Panday, Brijendra Kala and Simrat Kaur Randhawa. Adding an interesting personal touch to the film, Yashvrdhn’s mother, Sunita Ahuja, will portray his on-screen mother. The project is particularly special as it brings the mother-son duo together on screen.
Sunita Ahuja Talks About Working With Son Yashvardhan
Speaking about to the media, Sunita Ahuja revealed that she will be seen alongside her son in the film. She said, “I'm working on a film with Yash. In Yash's film, I'm playing his mother. Perhaps I think it's the first time in the industry that a mother and son are being launched together.”
Hero Ki Horrorine Release Date
The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor and Amar Butala, with Jai Ho Media Ventures backing the project. It is presented by Balaji Telefilms Ltd and directed by Sajid Khan. Amar Butala, known for backing several blockbuster Hindi films, has joined forces with Ektaa R. Kapoor for the project. Hero Ki Horrorine is scheduled to arrive in the theaters next year on January 7, 2027.
