Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor is all set to exchange wedding vows with longtime boyfriend Rohan Thakkar on July 6. Ahead of her grand wedding, the Kapoor family is celebrating pre-wedding festivities. Let’s get inside Anshula Kapoor’s wedding festivities.
After impressing with her Mata Ki Chowki look, Anshula gave a sneak peek into her Mehndi and Chooda ceremony. She attended her Mehndi ceremony in a vibrant teal blue lehenga, ditching the usual green or yellow outfit. The mehendi ceremony was planned as a surprise by her sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
While sharing her Mehndi look, Anshula wrote, “@janhvikapoor and @khushikapoor planned the entire mehendi as a surprise. I knew there was a celebration - I just had no idea what they had dreamt up. Watching it all unfold, surrounded by so much love, is a memory I’ll hold onto forever.”
The bride-to-be shared a series of pictures from her Mehndi and Chooda ceremony. She posed with the whole Kapoor family, including Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and others. Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Shabana Azmi were also spotted in the shared happy pictures.
Anshula later shared her pictures from the Chooda ceremony, for which she opted for a light-green Punjabi salwar suit featuring intricate embroidery. While posing with her close ones, she wrote, “Chooda. Kalire. Blessings. The moment it all started to feel real.” In one of her pictures, she was seen emotional while hugging her brother Arjun Kapoor. In another one, her father was seen kissing her forehead. Anshula ended the carousel with a picture of her soon-to-be main man, Rohan.
For the unversed, Anshula and Rohan have been dating for a couple of years. Last year in July, the couple announced their engagement through a heartfelt post on social media. Anshula wrote, “We met on an app. Started talking on a random Tuesday at 1.15 am. We spoke until 6 am that morning. And somehow, even back then, it felt like the beginning of something that mattered. Three years later, in my favourite city, in front of the castle in Central Park, he proposed! At exactly 1.15 AM India time! And somehow the world paused just long enough for the moment to feel like magic. Just the quiet kind of love that feels like home.”
