Maa Behen features a powerhouse female-led cast including Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and digital creator turned debutant Dharna Durga, alongside Ravi Kishan and Geetanjali Kulkarni. The movie features a mother and her daughters who use their collective rage to dismantle patriarchy.
Set in a middle-class housing society, the story follows Rekha (Madhuri Dixit), a fiercely non-conforming widow who works at a wine shop and wears sleeveless blouses, much to the dismay of her judgmental neighbours.
The chaos begins when Rekha accidentally finds her nosy, moral-policing neighbor, Gupta Ji (Ravi Kishan) in her kitchen. Panicked, she makes urgent calls to her daughters, Jaya (Triptii Dimri) and Sushma (Dharna Durga). The sisters rush home, and the three women find themselves stuck in a hysterical cover-up game.
After watching the family drama, social media users shared their two cents about the film.
