Maheep Kapoor embraces her age proudly
The episode focused on the idea of pro-ageing, encouraging women to move beyond societal pressures around looking younger and instead prioritize wellness, longevity and self-assurance. Through personal anecdotes and expert insights, the discussion explored how women can take charge of their health and celebrate every stage of life with pride.
During the conversation, Soha admitted she was initially hesitant to ask Maheep about her age. Reacting to the question, Maheep said, “Oh, thank God you’ve asked me this question.” Soha replied, “I was nervous,” noting that it is often considered impolite to ask someone their age.
Clarifying the confusion, Maheep said, “What little people do know me, I’m a little straightforward, a little black and white. Unfortunately on Wikipedia, I’m still in my fetus somewhere.” Soha revealed that while preparing for the episode, she had expected to speak with someone in their mid-50s, only to find online information stating that Maheep was 43.
Setting the record straight, Maheep declared, “I am not 43, I am 52, very proud of 52.” In response, Soha joked, “And that’s why you look fabulous for 52. When it said 43, I was like you look alright for 43.” Maheep continued, “I want to look fabulous and I am 52 guys, 1973, like I said around 5:00 clock I think was my birth time in London and 29th April. I’m a Taurean. Blood group O+.”
The latest episode reinforces the show's commitment to meaningful conversations that challenge traditional ideas around ageing. With Soha steering the discussion with warmth and curiosity, the episode encourages women to view ageing not as a loss of youth, but as a journey marked by wisdom, resilience and a stronger sense of self.
