Just days after announcing her official separation from husband Suraj Nambiar. Mouni Roy has flown straight to the French Riviera for the Cannes Film Festival 2026. Proving that the show must go on, Mouni took to her Instagram to drop a series of absolutely jaw-dropping pictures.

Taking to her social media, Mouni Roy gave her fans a glimpse into her chaotic yet fashionable time at Cannes 2026. Posting from a scenic balcony overlooking the French Riviera, Mouni captioned her post, “Cannes & Chaos! Bonjour x.”

The Brahmastra actress painted the town black with an ultra-chic monochrome ensemble. She opted for a fitted black mini dress featuring a sharp, contrasting white halter-style collar. To beat the breezy French weather, she layered the dress with a structured coat and sheer black stockings. Nailing the high-fashion winter-chic vibe, she completed her look with black boots.
The actress is attending Cannes 2026 along with her co-star Anupria Goenka for the showcase of their upcoming film, Bombay Stories, at the Marche du Film. This marks Mouni's return to the prestigious festival after her grand debut back in 2023.
Her stunning appearance comes right after she made headlines for breaking up with her businessman husband, Suraj Nambiar. They recently released a joint statement on Instagram confirming their decision to part ways after four years together.
Suraj also cleared the air online, shutting down rumors about alimony disputes or third-party involvement. He posted on his Instagram Stories, “Recent baseless reports surrounding our separation have been made in bad taste and are absolutely malicious. Let me set the record straight once and for all. There is no alimony. There are no disputes. There is no third party involved.”
He added, “Mouni and I chose to part ways together, with mutual respect and with full consideration for each other's well-being. That is the truth. Everything else being reported is fiction, and in some cases, a deliberate attempt to vilify two people who have done nothing but ask to be left alone.”
