Neha Dhupia confronts paparazzi for shooting her from behind
Neha Dhupia is known for her calm demeanour and jolly nature. But she is also someone who doesn’t shy away from speaking her mind and raising her voice when needed. Recently, she indulged in a fiery confrontation with the Mumbai paparazzi which later went viral.
The trigger behind the outburst stems from a recent clip that circulated online showing Dhupia jogging on a track. The footage was shot from behind without her comfort or consent. When she came face-to-face with the photographers at the event, she decided she had finally had enough.
Hence, an irked Neha confronted them in Hindi, “Yeh badtameezi se backshot kaun leta hai tumlog me se? Band karo yeh sab! Mera nahi karna hai. Kisi ka nahi karna hai. Bol bol kar thak gaye hain. Bag utha kar, book utha kar, backward walking karke. Yeh sab nahi chalega abhi. Band karo yeh sab. Humlog bahut izzat se karte hai aap logon se baat. Mat karo.”
Her comment translates to “Who among you is taking these back shots so disrespectfully? Stop it! Do not do it to me. Do not do it to anyone. We are tired of saying this over and over. Picking up bags and books, walking backwards, none of that will work anymore. Put a stop to all this. We speak to you all with great respect. Do not do this.”
Before walking away, Neha explicitly requested a few photographers to pass on the message to their teams and colleagues, urging them to respect basic boundaries and maintain the mutual respect that the celebs and shutterbugs share.
Neha is not the only one who has blasted the cameramen for their intrusive behavior. Janhvi Kapoor and Arbaaz Khan have previously slammed photographers for capturing invasive angles.
Sonakshi Sinha was recently seen visually irritated at an eatery, politely folding her hands and pleading, "Bas guys, thank you, good night!" as photographers aggressively followed her to her car.
Earlier, Salman Khan made headlines when he lost his temper at the media for shooting him during a hospital visit.
