Set against the vibrant backdrop of Prayagraj, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do follows a seemingly perfect, traditional marriage. However, it gets hilariously derailed by a single, unexpected decision involving chai.

In the sequel, the makers opted for a fresh, multi-starrer ensemble including Ayushmann Khurrana as Prajapati Pandey, the core of the chaos. Followed by Wamiqa Gabbi as Aparna Trivedi, Prajapati’s wife, followed by Sara Ali Khan as Chanchal Kumari, Prajapati’s love interest, and Rakul Preet Singh as Nilofer Khan. Powerhouses like Vijay Raaz, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Ayesha Raza feature in cameo appearances.

A user mentioned in their review, “The chemistry between the supporting cast and Ayushmann works brilliantly because everyone matches the same comic rhythm and energy.” Another one stated, “The local Prayagraj touch in the dialogues and performances gives the film a very rooted and authentic comedy feel.”

Actor, producer, filmmaker, and screenwriter Tigmanshu Dhulia plays the role of Gajraj Tiwari in the hilarious film. Several fans were highly impressed by his comic timing and didn’t forget to pen their rave review about his performance.

According to a fan, “Tigmanshu Dhulia especially looked like he was having fun in every scene. His comic presence added so much entertainment value.” Another one followed, mentioning, “Ayushmann’s comic timing with Vijay Raaz and Tigmanshu Dhulia creates some of the funniest scenes in the film.” Ayesha Raza Mishra and Vijay Raaz also received a positive response.
